Educational Foundation Named Gift Honorees
For well over a century, the American Association of University Women Educational Foundation has helped more than 8,300 women from 123 countries pursue their dream of obtaining a graduate degree with fellowships, grants and awards. The foundation is one of the world’s largest sources of funding for graduate women.

Branches are asked to contribute $25 per member to the EF Fund each year. This year the state EF Committee challenged its branches to increase their total Educational Foundation contributions by 10% over the totals given in 2002. Many branches took on the challenge and 59 branches achieved that lofty goal. Temecula Valley Branch was one that increased their annual giving with a total contribution of $3,445. Special recognition was given to our branch at State Convention. Congratulations to all of our members who made this possible through fund raising and individual contributions.

For each $500 or $1000 contributed, we as a branch may honor an individual or branch as a Named Gift Honoree. Last November a committee consisting of past Named Gift Honorees and the EF chairs met and made their selection for 2004. At our Installation Brunch, certificates were presented to Named Gift Honorees Donna Chamberlain, Susan Stillings and the Temecula Valley Branch in appreciation of their significant contributions to the mission of the AAUW Educational Foundation.
